In early 2005 a group of concerned leaders established The South Carolina Natural Resources Society (SCNRS). The Society was created as a statewide network to address natural resource issues in South Carolina and provide a platform for balanced and informed decision making. Each year the South Carolina Natural Resources Society will adopt an educational area of focus, as well as a legislative outreach program of work.   2011 Board Members: Emmett Davis, Jr. Chairman Dan C. The society will bring a voice of reason to offset hidden agendas, and can do so effectively as they will remain unaffiliated with special interest groups.
